CNC Machinist

Job Description:

• CNC Machinist - setting up machine, loading and unloading material into machine, deburring finished parts, and performing quality control checks on finished parts (this will be performed once every two hours using micrometers and calipers).
• Will primarily be working on Horizontal Machining Centers.
• All tooling will have been selected and programming done.
• Must be able to pick up off-sets on the machine and troubleshoot the program to do so.
• Will also be doing production changeovers - setting up a machine to run production on a number of repeated parts.

Qualifications:

Musts
-HSED/GED
-Ability to read blueprints
-Ability to use and read quality tools including calipers and micrometers and gauges
-Strong mechanical aptitude, have used hand tools and power tools

Preferred:
-Previous CNC machining experience including setting up tooling and selecting the correct program for runs. This information is all on the blueprints
-Machine tool certificate
-Ability to Edit programs when needed

Shift: 2nd Shift and 3rd shift openings
