Position Summary

The Marketing Manager is responsible for the development and implementation of national retail marketing programs designed to drive increases in incremental product sales, rental accounts, repair accounts, private lessons, and ecommerce. Through a deep understanding of market needs and sales trend data, they are responsible for the development, pitching, execution, and analysis of unique, omni-channel national marketing campaigns that drive achievement of organizational goals. The ideal candidate will have experience in retail marketing, direct mail, digital marketing, budget management, project management, event planning, data analysis, and social media. Music experience is not required.

General

  • Own the omni-channel marketing calendar by planning and executing monthly marketing campaigns. Promotions within the campaigns include couponing, A/B variant testing, flash sales, grand openings, as well as incorporate traditional, digital, social, events, and experiential marketing tactics.
  • Collaborate with the merchandising team to ensure promotional products and inventory are aligned.
  • Track and evaluate market progress using data to inform valuable recommendations for future executions.
  • Reporting -- generation, creation, analysis and data-mining of monthly marketing reports with KPIs showing KPIs and sales goals.
  • Manage and mentor Marketing Coordinator in support of general marketing initiatives.

 

 

Project/Event Management

  • Develop and execute national programs designed to maximize sales growth and increase customer traffic through outreach.
  • Supervise logistical, administrative and communications aspects of new store openings, event planning, community relations, publicity and national advertising.
  • Conceptualize and coordinate campaigns which will require creative briefs to the design team to support marketing.

 

Budget Management

  • Pitch, track, and justify budget expenses for national marketing programs.
  • Ensure all expenses are within budget.
  • Monthly budget review to ensure all expense is submitted in a timely manner.

 

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in business/marketing or equivalent work experiences.
  • 5 years marketing experience and/or project management.
