Job Description:
Our client is searching for a new System Test Engineer. We are looking for someone that has some familiarity in embedded device testing, automation, and system experience is a must. This specific position will be for Web Page integration testing. This company is an automated hands-on shop with the desire for a good mix of knowledge on the software stack.
Qualifications:
- System IVV Engineer - Industrial IOT system
- 5-10+years' experience System level testing of an IndustrialIOT system.
- The system under test will include the actual prototyped system plus simulators of the devices that it will be integrated with.
- Testing of Embedded SW and Firmware and Test Automation
- Testing of hardware, wiring, and API/interfaces to other devices
- Review Requirements and Write test cases, and test case development
- Project is run in Agile fashion, so must be good at estimating test development and execution for Sprints
- This is not a Software Testing position - this is testing a system with hardware, firmware, interfaces to 3rd party systems (web servers, PLCs, other hardware)
- Ethernet IP or other industrial protocols experience are helpful but not necessary
- Works well with engineers to proactively understand the system, requirements to make sure test cases are comprehensive
