Responsibilities

* Must follow all safety rules and regulations including to but not limited to, lock out tag out, confined space entry and hazardous material handling.

* Must be able to analyze and repair air compressors, air controls and troubleshoot valves and cylinders, inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot power transmission system components.

* Must be able to analyze and correct basic electrical problems.

* Must be able to set up and be familiar with the operation of lathe and milling machines.

* Must be able to weld horizontal and vertical steel and aluminum, and follow fabrication prints.

* Must be able to lift and carry up to 75 lbs. Must be able to climb and work at heights up to 100 ft.

* Must be flexible to work extended hours, holidays and weekends.

May occasionally come in contact with acetone while performing daily tasks.

When coming in contact with acetone the following applies:

* Must be sure that all spills are cleaned up

* All containers must be kept closed except for removing or replacing acetone

* All containers are to be properly labeled and stored.

* After using acetone it must be recycled and waste must be properly stored

* Acetone is considered a hazardous material and anything that comes in contact with acetone must be treated the same and stored as hazardous waste

* Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

* 3 to 5 years of documented industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing facility, preferred

* Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals, safety rules and operating instructions.

* Ability to work with mathematical concepts and apply these to practical situations.

* Ability to troubleshoot equipment problems, logically and systematically analyze machine problems and correct them.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:

* Stand walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and use hands to fingers, handle or feel objects tools, or controls handle or feel objects, tools, or controls

* The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.

* Work near moving mechanical parts.

* Is regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles and vibration.

* Work in a normally loud / noisy work environment.

* Must be able to wear a respirator.
