Responsibilities
Job Tasks:
* Repair carpet manufacturing breakdown lines safely and efficiently
* Repair equipment during maintenance shut downs
* Assist with project installations
* Initiative to work without supervision
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
* Provide own tools
* Have phone and valid drivers license
* Work at heights of 25 feet or greater
* Good attendance and safety records
* Lift 50 pounds
* Work extended hours and overtime when needed
* Conform to NFPA70E requirements
* Be on call for emergency situations
* Must have or be able to obtain hyster and other lift licenses
* Ability to read volt meters and amp meters
* Be able to read electrical schematics and use them for troubleshooting
* Knowledge of AC & DC motors
* Troubleshoot PLC & AC inverters
* Calculate electrical load & size breakers & starters
