Generic pharmaceutical company located near Commack, NY seeks a Quality Control Chemist with 2+ years of generic pharma experience.
Main functions include but are not limited to:
Main functions include but are not limited to:
- Perform pharmaceutical laboratory quality control/development activities
- Develop and validate analytical methods; analyze raw materials and in-process/finished product samples using modern quality control techniques like HPLC, GC, XRD, UV-Vis, ICP, etc.
- Work with advanced equipment/instrumentation in the lab
- Perform in-process inspections & document results
- Other functions as needed
- Bachelor’s Degree or foreign equivalent in Pharmacy/Chemistry or related field and 2 years relevant work experience OR in the alternative Master’s Degree or foreign equivalent in Pharmacy/Chemistry or related field required
