Tool Crib Receiving Coordinator

AVK produces blind installed threaded fasteners for transportation and general industrial markets worldwide. We use state of the art high-speed cold forming equipment to produce blind installed threaded inserts and studs. We feature product lines of both unified (INCH) and metric fasteners along with numerous special designs that meet customer application requirements.

AVK Industrial Products is currently seeking a full time Tool Crib/Receiving Coordinator to join our team.
Summary: Under general supervision and direction, receives, stores, issues hand tools, machine tools, dies, materials, supplies, merchandise, equipment in industrial establishment and compiles stock records by performing the following duties

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

 Issues tools and equipment to workers and maintains records of tools and equipment issued and returned.
 Locates lost or misplaced tools and equipment.
 Prepares periodic inventory or maintains perpetual inventory of tools and equipment.
 Receives, unpacks, and stores incoming tools and equipment, and requisitions stock to replenish inventory.
 Inspects and measures tools and equipment for defects and wear and reports damage or wear to supervisors.
 Repairs, services, and lubricates tools and equipment.
 Delivers tools or equipment to workers.
 Marks and identifies tools and equipment.
 Counts, sorts, or weighs incoming articles to verify receipt of items on requisition or invoices.
 Prepares product and paperwork for shipment to offsite processing sources. Arranges pickup and delivery and receives product upon return.
 Examines stock to verify conformance to specifications.
 Stores articles in bins, on floor, or on shelves, according to identifying information such as style, size, or type of material.
 Fills orders or issues supplies from stock.
 Prepares periodic, special, or perpetual inventory of stock.
 Requisitions articles to fill incoming orders.
 Compiles reports on use of stock handling equipment, adjustments of inventory counts and stock records, damage to stock, location changes, and refusal of shipments.
 Marks identifying codes, figures, or letters on articles.
 Distributes stock, keeping records of material issued.

 Determines methods of storage, identification, and stock location, considering temperature, humidity, height and weight limits, turnover, floor loading capacities, and required space.
 Moves or transports material or supplies to other departments.
 Maintains inventory and other stock records.

Education and/or Experience: High School graduate or GED; or one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
