Immediate Job Opportunity for Extrusion Operators in Bethlehem PA!
Job Description
-Start up, set up, operate and tend machine that extrudes thermoplastics to meet customer specifications and dimensions according to blueprints.
-Load materials intro extruder and adjust feed mechanisms to set feed rates.
-Move controls to activate and adjust for extruding process.
Observe machine operations, control boards and gauges to detect any defective materials or any machine malfunctions.
-Observes and checks finished film coming off the production lines and if detects sub-standard product takes immediate corrective action to eliminate any causes of sub-standard product.
-Responsible for detailed completion of work orders and production reports.
-Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
-Able to lift or carry up to 100lbs with help.
-Run Single and Double Screw Machines
Qualifications
Machine operating experience
Change overs
Ability to work for 12+hours a day
Ability to read a tape measure
Work Environment
70 Person Thermoplastic extrusion company in Bethlehem, PA. New Management team that has been re-worked at the facility. Family owned company. Temperature controlled environment but can get hot in the summers with the thermo equipment.
Pay
15.00-17.00 per hour based on experience
