Machine/Production Operator

Candidates should have at 2-3 years of experience in the manufacturing/ production environment.
Candidates should come from a production based environment and must be open to all shifts.

This is a manufacturing company that produces various "contained" chemicals. It is a mixture of a distribution/ warehouse facility, and a manufacturing company.

Candidates MUST HAVE HS diploma/ GED.

Candidates that come from a 5S environment is a plus.

This position will start as a bagger initially, but in the near future will evolve into a production operator position. This person will be trained in one or more of the plant processes, and will be primarily responsible for packing finish product in bags & boxes and supervised contractors who are not trained to operate plant processes.

JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES
All site personnel must work in a manner that protects the safety and health of themselves and their fellow workers and exhibit care for the environment. All personnel have responsibilities in the following area:

* Organizing daily operation involved in production areas: Perform quality analysis and packaging, maintain detail production/maintenance records, and input production information into computer system along with analysis.
* Perform safety observations
* Perform daily safety and maintenance checks
* Maintain excellent housekeeping inside production room and on equipment
* Complete all necessary training qualification
* Participate in ongoing Occupational Health and Safety Program
* Troubleshoot/Resolve equipment malfunctions in the production area
