Welder Needed! (Poth, TX)

Aerotek staffing is seeking an Experienced Welder for our clients job site in Poth, TX.

Job Type: Full-time

Start Date: Tomorrow Wednesday May 16th

Travel: Yes - After 4 months (Travel to different projects)

Pay: $16 - $18/hr.

Schedule: 40+ hrs. a week (must be open to lots of overtime)

Job Description:

This welder will be performing Stick Welding to assist in the installation of ingredient bins at a Feed Mill that is being built in Poth, TX. This employee will be required to do the following:

• weld on bins, pressers, and mixers within the facility.
• Required to read blueprints to determine what type of weld to perform.
• Will be working on installing new equipment.
• Required to perform daily welds according to installation schedule.
• Welding experience needed: Stick Welding, Mig Welding, and Tig Welding.
• Will be required to clean the surface before performing welding to ensure proper welding techniques are being utilized.
• No welder helper to assist, so the employee will need to understand the full process.

This is a 4 Month Contract to Hire position with Aerotek.

Upon conversion, the employee will be required to travel with company to next projects.
