IT Communications Specialist - Full-time / Part-time

We are strategically reinvesting in the business to strengthen our leadership positions and capture additional market share around the world. Specifically, investment in technology is critical to the execution of our business priorities. Our global IT transformation efforts require world class communication strategies to deliver aligned, branded messaging and reporting. We are currently seeking an IT Communications Specialist to support the development and execution of the IT communications portfolio.

Responsibilities:

• Partners with both IT and business stakeholders to execute communication strategies and approaches for the full range of projects and initiatives
• Consults with key requestor(s) to identify the type of communication, define target audience and then develop a plan that is best suited for adoption
• Leverages established best practices for message delivery
• Ensures that all IT communications are aligned with TJX and IT communications branding strategies
• Assists team with the vetting and approval of communications by IT Senior Leadership and Global Communications as required
• Leverages use of social media/technology to distribute communications
• Develops and maintains collaborative technology vehicles
• Supports IT Leadership meetings and events through content development and facilitation
• Supports Business Change Readiness activities related to IT transformation projects
• Drives IT Brand Management to include; taglines, templates and creative marketing materials
• Reports on defined metrics and KPIs

Skills/Knowledge

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated experience using appropriate communication tools and technologies to include; MS Office Suite, various web tools, video enhancement and O365 Collaboration Suite
• Proven analytical skills along with marked attention to detail
• Event planning experience
• Proven ability to multi-task and work under pressure under tight deadlines while maintaining confidentiality
• Capacity to work independently and effectively on multiple projects with limited supervision

Education/Experience

• 2-3 years comparable communications experience, IT experience strongly preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree in Communications or other equivalent related area of study
