Maintenance Mechanic - Full-time / Part-time

Our client is looking to hire individuals for Maintenance Mechanic openings for a manufacturing facility.

To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience being a Maintenance Mechanic, performing mechanical repairs to motors, gear boxes, belts, conveyor systems.

Job Duties:

• Candidates will be working in concrete plant and two different departments.
• Good attention to detail, must be able to follow instructions to perform maintenance, make repairs by deadline they are given, ability to perform both mechanical and minor electrical repairs.
• Mechanics will be responsible for proper use Oxygen/acetylene torch along with arc weld in various positions and types of joints.
• Demonstrate ability to properly operate band saws, drills, drill presses, grinders and other shop tools.
• Candidates will replace or repair bearings and related parts.
• Must be able to make minor wiring repairs .
• Demonstrate ability to start or jog equipment to perform maintenance tasks.
• Will need to rebuild cylinders and hydraulic valves.
• Demonstrate ability to use a multi-function electrical test meter.
• Demonstrate ability to layout and fabricate from drawings.
• Demonstrate ability to wire and phase for direction single and three phase motors, starters and relays.
• Demonstrate ability to read and troubleshoot simple pneumatic and hydraulic schematics, read and troubleshoot
• Demonstrate ability to help set up and maintain a preventative maintenance program.
