This equipment technician position is open due to a promotion to Case Manager.

This entry level equipment technician position for an Electronic Monitoring equipment installer. The installer is primarily responsible for performing equipment installations, removal and troubleshooting of all equipment, along with daily client scheduling, inventory control and back-up administer of drug screenings to program participants.

Salary: $12.00 per hour

Shift: Monday - Friday 8:00-5:00

Equipment Technician Expectations and Essential Functions:

-Install and remove various electronic monitoring equipment as requested using directed safety precautions.

-Provide support for service and maintenance of equipment.

-Keep accurate records of service calls.

-Inspect and maintain all monitoring and testing equipment, this includes cleaning equipment.

-Maintains calibration and repair records for all equipment serviced.

-Complete intake duties and baseline screens on all new participants.

-Back up case workers to collect urine samples from offenders involved in the Drug Testing Program.

Other Equipment Technician Requirements:

-HS diploma or equivalent; experience accepted

-Must hold a valid Driver License and automobile insurance

-Basic computer skills

-Practice time management to meet tight deadlines due to program equipment installation requirements

-Must be able to work flexible work schedules if needed

-Must be able to communicate effectively with Department Personnel, Judges and Program Participants as well as company personnel

-Ability to prepare written reports and maintain accurate records

-Previous social work and counseling roles may be beneficial
