Assembly & Packaging Clerk

PrideStaff is working with an established company in Columbia, IL to locate a reliable and hard working Assembly Clerk to work in a stable, never-boring, full-time position.

HOURS: 1st Shift: 8:00am - 4:30pm (OT available on occasion)
2nd Shift: 4:00pm - 12:30am (OT available on occasion)

JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Carefully read manufacturing work documents to ensure all previous work was done correctly
- Inspect received products parts to verify correct size, thickness and dimensions meet specifications
- Inspect products using magnifying lens and measuring tools
- Trim parts using machines as needed to make sure proper fit
- Physically insert parts together to ensure items fit properly with one another

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Good hand/eye coordination, manual dexterity, attention to detail and patience is required
- High School diploma or GED
- Previous experience working with medical products strongly preferred
- Must have basic math skills
- Work well in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to push, pull and carry up to 30 lbs
- Must be able to stand up to 8 hours a day
- Must have consistent and reliable means of transportation
- Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug screen
- Must provide 2 work references (no personal references please)
