Automation Personnel Services, Inc. Is now hiring for a Technical Service Representative in Huntsville, Alabama, for a great company that is a well-established electronics company.
The Technical Service Representative will be working under general supervision, in a call center environment, who provides technical support to Direct Mobile Service Technicians and authorized service centers in the troubleshooting/diagnosis of operational problems encountered in Home Electronics and Home Appliances.
Job Description:
? Answer inbound calls from DMST and authorized service centers in a prompt, knowledgeable, and courteous manner documenting all information into call tracking system
? Provide support in the troubleshooting and diagnosis of home electronics/home appliance problems encountered in the maintenance of those products by using general knowledge, product schematics, data stored in knowledgebase, and other sources of information available.
? Work together with internal groups to provide industry leading technical support
? Provide updates to knowledge database used by service centers and other technical support representatives with new troubleshooting information discovered in the resolution of customer calls
? Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
? Technical Diploma or Associates Degree in Electronics, HVAC, Electrical or a related field.
? Minimum 1 year experience working in a technical field.
? Possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
? Must be proficient in the areas of Technical Support and Customer Service.
? Organized, focused and detailed-oriented individual with the ability to multi-task and manage time well.
? Ability to adapt to rapid change
? Knowledge of relevant software computer applications and equipment.
? Ability and desire to learn new technology and its application
? Enhanced knowledge of MS Office including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
? Background and drug testing required.
