Sr. Software Developer – Corporate Applications

 

POSITION REPORT TO:     Director of Corporate Applications

POSITION LOCATION:      Restaurant Support Center, New Albany, Ohio

 

Statement of Purpose:

 

Bob Evans is looking for a Senior Level Developer with Enterprise Dynamics 365 experience who has a mix of hands on experience on enterprise application implementation, architectural design and strategic business acumen. This candidate will have experience with large scale enterprise implementations.

 

Accountabilities:

  • Contribute to the technical set-up, configuration and execution of Dynamics 365 project work streams
  • Experience working with Microsoft Azure cloud platform, as well as a deep understanding of the SaaS, PaaS and IaaS implementations
  • Demonstrate the ability to work systematically and logically to analyze situations, resolve problems, identify causes and anticipate implications
  • Maintain good working business relationships to ensure all requirements are properly captured and executed on
  • Prioritize work and spend time on most important, value-adding areas
  • Play a leadership role in estimating, developing, testing and delivery of the desired software architecture
  • Installing and configuring all aspects of Microsoft Dynamics
  • Configuring and Maintaining Dynamics 365 administrative tasks such as (User Management, Configuration, and Deployment).
  • Technical Responsibilities including multi-tiered application support, Design, Develop, Test and monitor plans for D365 security
  • Develop, Maintain and enforce security policies and procedures aligned with best practices for segregation of duties and lead other process improvement

Knowledge:

  • Knowledge and experience documenting large enterprise systems (UML)
  • Strong knowledge and experience using languages such as C#, X++, Net
  • Understanding and experience in software development methodologies (waterfall, agile, DevOps)
  • Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server a plus
  • Strong knowledge and experience with relational database design
  • Experienced in usage of source code management industry best practices
  • Strong IT debugging, analysis and technical skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Have experience in estimating providing formal development estimates
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure platform and related technologies
  • Ability to lead developers and consultants in various project work streams
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment as a valued team member
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with business users
  • Desire to learn new technologies and continually expand technical capabilities

 

Education/Experience:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field is preferred
  • Proven experience in working with all phases of the development lifecycle
  • Project experience as a development lead in at least one large multi stream ERP deployment
  • Experience with Microsoft TFS administration, configuration and deployment
  • Experience with .Net framework, UML, XML, SharePoint, BizTalk
  • 7+ years working with an object oriented development language (X++, C#, NET, Java, .NET framework)
  • Experience with Dynamics AX Trace Parser a plus
  • Experience with SQL Server data model analysis and executing SQL
  • Experience with Azure Cloud and related technologies
  • Experience with the diagnosis of X++ code tracing with performance analysis outcomes and recommendations preferred
