CareGiver/St.Landry Parish - Part-time

Home Instead Senior Care is looking for caring and compassionate CAREGivers to become a part of our team and join our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout our community.  Home Instead Senior Care provides a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion.

Expect to Make a Difference

​CAREGivers provide quality care to Seniors by doing the following:

• Administer bedside and personal care (bathing, dressing, incontinence)
• Provide clients with non-medical one on one care
• Perform light housekeeping (cleaning, laundry, etc.)
• Contribute to a positive living environment
• Helps clients to have an independent and active life as possible
• Assist with walking
• Meal preparation and feeding, if necessary
• Transportation for errands and appointments
• Medication reminders
• Maintain record of client progress/services performed
• Report changes in client condition
• Other duties as assigned

​Expect to Apply your Skills and Experience

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Have a valid driver's license
• Complete a criminal background check, DMV check and drug screen
• Personal or professional caregiver experience with a loved one, Client, Senior in home care or facility
