Home Instead Senior Care in Madison is looking for a positive, personable professional who will fit well within our organization as we continue to grow!  The CAREGiver Manager (CGM) is focused on managing the CAREGiver team through one-on-one coaching at the office and in the field. The CGM reports directly to the General Manager and works closely with all team members at the branch.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Schedule and conduct CAREGiver quality assurance assessments in the field on all CAREGivers on at least a bi-annual basis
  • Conduct CAREGiver annual reviews and all supervisory responsibilities, to include regular performance conversations, accountabilities, and problem resolution
  • Conducts weekly CAREGiver orientation with new CAREGivers
  • Work in partnership with the Staff Coordinators to manage CAREGiver schedules with an emphasis on creating high quality matches and extraordinary relationships
  • Meet expectations with respect to critical engagement metrics, such as CAREGiver retention goals
  • Monitor, mediate, and log all client and CAREGiver activity utilizing the software system
  • Help plan and successfully execute all CAREGiver meetings
  • Create and maintain all employment records including I-9s, state and federal tax forms, and all other employment related documents
  • Monitor compliance for local and federal labor and safety laws including EOE, ADA, FMLA, and OSHA
  • Demonstrate open and effective communication with the franchise owner, colleagues, CAREGivers, clients and family members
  • Ability to build and foster strong relationships with others
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team
  • Maintain regular attendance to execute job responsibilities
  • All other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • CNA management experience required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to listen effectively
  • Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality of information
  • Demonstrated discretion, integrity, and fair-mindedness consistent with office standards, practices, policies, and procedures
  • Demonstrated complex problem solving with the ability to organize and prioritize work
  • Ability to effectively network with other professionals
  • Sense of urgency while meeting deadlines
  • Self-motivated, strategic thinker who is results driven

SUPERVISORY

This position has direct supervisory responsibilities of CAREGivers and will be responsible for setting goals and deadlines in alignment with company culture.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

This job operates in a professional office environment and local field setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment as well as equipment necessary to fulfill client needs.  Local travel to clients will be required.
