Delivery Driver

Position Objective:

To efficiently package and deliver customer orders, so that orders arrive complete and on time. To maintain customer satisfaction and increase positive company exposure.

Essential Functions:

• Prepare and label retail/corporate orders
• Strategically load orders into vehicle
  • Note time/directions of orders to combine multiple orders in one cart
• Accurately and neatly wrap catering platter, bakery, and kitchen items
• Understand how to handle different types of pickup and delivery orders
• Drive to deliver orders
• Uphold our image on the street and be comfortable with “elevator selling"
  • Present yourself well and dress in proper attire
• Unload vehicle and arrange food/drink in appropriate layout
  • Present food in buffet order or discuss presentation with customer
• Maintain equipment
• Use company tools to prepare paper products for following day
• Maintain accurate delivery log and tipping report
• Miscellaneous pick-up and delivery on store’s behalf
• Perform additional projects/duties as assigned by the management team

Skills/Requirements:

• Physically able to work an eight (8) hour day or more while on your feet
• Safely lift up to 35lbs.
• Maintain composed sense of urgency during catering hours
• Excellent customer service skills
• Sharp attention to detail
• Ability to perform basic mathematics on the spot
• Obey all traffic laws
• Be familiar with online ordering process of www.Specialtys.com
• Must have own vehicle and adequate insurance for damage and liability
• Able to read and speak English
• Food Handler’s Certified in states with reuirement
