Operations Agent (Ocean Export) - Full-time / Part-time

JOB DESCRIPTION:
OCEAN EXPORT

Position is open due to growth & new business in the pipeline that they will be acquiring shortly! Also, the volumes have been picking up lately & they want to stay on top of this - - Career opportunity!!

This department is broken into three teams:


- Team #1: handles a single large account (heavy data entry), processes are already in place.


- Team #2: handles smaller accounts, everything from A-Z. (More of an entrepreneurial mindset)


- Team #3: handles multiple, larger accounts, process is broken down amongst that team - More of a Hybrid role, split between data entry, emailing and contacting internal/external customers.

You will do everything within freight forwarding as far as Ocean Export goes from A-Z.

- Customer Service
- High volume of emailing & follow-up with customers on questions.
- Logging information into excel (copy/paste)
- maintain vendor relations (customer relationships)
- Assist in maintaining a strong forwarding-based clientele
- Accounting related functions such as billing and invoicing
- Accurate and timely billing
- Sales and Retention of current and new business
- Procedure and Productivity Standards Adherence
- Self Development (continuously striving for more)
