Mechanical Assembler - Full-time / Part-time

Aerotek is now hiring for mechanical assemblers in Pontiac, IL.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The assembler will be responsible for the following tasks:
-Assemble lift gates using a variety of hand tools and pneumatic tools
-Complete anywhere from 2-10 lift gates in a single shift depending on the model
-Take initiative to walk over to other departments and bring back needed materials to complete the assembly
-Could use the assistance of a blueprint depending on the model of lift gate
-Lift parts weighing up to 60 lbs.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

This company prides itself on being a safe, clean stress free manufacturing shop

There is a paint line, fabrication department, welding department, assembly area and a shipping and receiving department

QUALIFICATIONS:

-Mechanical Aptitude
-Previous experience with hand tools and/or pneumatic tools
-Proven attendance record
