General Production Operator - Full-time / Part-time

This company makes windshields for the major Automotive manufacturers such as BMW, FCA, Ford, and GM. The glass is created from start to finish in this facility. Once the glass has been tempered and cut, these candidates will assist in the rest of the process.

Candidates will occasionally lift up to 50lbs repeatedly each day. Once the glass has been cut out and tempered, candidates will assist in moving the glass from work station to work station to assemble and add more component parts, such as back lighting or heat strips, to the windshield. This will occasionally require hand tools to add these parts.

They will also be responsible for quality inspection and checking the glass for any defects. There will be times when they are required to put input data from quality checks into the computer. Ultimately they are making sure that these windows meet specs.
