Production Operator (Wire Saw/Slicing) - Full-time / Part-time

This Production Operator position involves setting up 6-7 wire saw machines per day, performing a slicing function for silicon wafer processing.

Required PPE includes hairnet, safety glasses, gloves, and company-provided steel toe shoes.

Must have a strong attention to detail, and good time management and multitasking skills to be able to monitor machine progress along with other maintenance like duties involved, such as having to change out and clean certain parts and chemicals within the machine, of which will entail bending, reaching, and torquing in somewhat of an awkward manner fairly frequently throughout the day as well.

Mechanical aptitude and background is highly desirable for this position.

It is required to lift or manipulate up to 50 lb. pieces of material sporadically throughout the day, loading and unloading the machinery.

Must be able to stand or be walking consistently throughout the day and able to do so on a 12-hour shift.

Basic computer skills are also necessary, including basic proficiency with email and Microsoft Excel.

Must be organized, willing and ready to learn and be trained, and able to work well with others as part of a team.

This is a Night Shift position working 6pm to 6am on a compressed workweek alternating 3-ON/4-OFF and 4-ON/3-OFF weekly schedules which require working every other weekend and will likely entail additional overtime days when needed. First month of training will be on 12-hour Day Shift however, 6am to 6pm before eventual transition to Night Shift.
