Responsibilities:
***Knowledge of the ophthalmology, optometry, medical, or healthcare is a plus.
Education:
Monday - Friday 9:00AM - 5:00PM
One late night per week: 11:00AM - 7:00PM or 10:00AM - 8:00PM
Must work 2 Saturdays per month for 4 hours each day
This position is expected to be at least 35 hours per week.
You will be given 4 hours off during each week. There is no overtime.
Pay: $15 - $20 per hour DOE

Responsibilities:
- Open, operate, maintain, and close the office on a daily basis
- Appointment scheduling, confirming, canceling, checking-in and checking-out
- Coordinate and communicate with NYC headquarters
- Review and run reports
- Responsible for day-to-day operations in the office
- Primary liaison with NYC headquarters
- Operate the whole Microsoft Suite and Electronic Medical Records
- Collect and post patients payments and reconcile daily finances, emailing reports to management
- Prepare charts, registration forms, data entry, filing, photocopying, faxing, medical record request, prescription pre-authorization and refills
- Confirm to all HIPAA regulations and maintain strict patient confidentiality
- Other duties as assigned
- Must be bilingual in Spanish and English.
- Must have great customer service skills.
- Must be able to follow policies.
- Must be proficient with computer software.
- Must speak professionally and clear.
- Must be able to multitask and work in a fast paced environment.
- Must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, kneel, stoop, and lift up to 30lbs.
