Senior Systems Developer (Public Cloud) - Full-time / Part-time

Are you an experienced cloud engineer with a solid understanding of public cloud and automation technologies at an enterprise scale? Does the challenge of delivering public cloud platforms and services at enterprise scale excite you? If yes, then come join our Public Cloud team as we bring cloud, automation, infrastructure as code to our organization.
In this role, you will:

Implement and champion public cloud technologies within our organization

Build secure tooling to allow the self-service of AWS, Google Cloud (GCP) & Azure offerings by application teams in a secure, reliable, friction free manner.

Work closely with both development and operations teams with a demonstrated commitment to their success

Demonstrate a passion and commitment towards advancing public and hybrid cloud technologies at enterprise scale

Push the boundaries of public cloud and work closely with our Amazon, Google Cloud & Azure partners on developing on the next great cloud tools

Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation and available for escalation as a subject matter expert if need be

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience

5+ plus years of industry experience preferable as a Systems Engineer or Developer

High proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language (Python preferred, Java, node, etc.)

Experience with systems implementation and administration experience (Linux required)

Experience with GitHub or other source control.

Experience with Infrastructure as Code and/or Infrastructure automation.

Understanding of software development methodologies and practices, including agile development, continuous integration and continuous delivery

An understanding of the complexities around security and compliance in a public/multi or hybrid cloud environment (PCI, PII, HIPPA, etc)

Demonstrated ability to successfully lead large scope projects as a technical lead

Demonstrated experience mentoring other team members within their teams

Ability to effectively consult and interact with technology/business partner team members

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Plus:

5 plus years of experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Google Cloud Platform products and APIs

Proficient in security/provisioning tasks relating to public/multi and hybrid cloud environments (AWS Accounts and GCP Projects)

Multi-cloud experience (AWS, Google Cloud)

Experience with cloud network topologies

Experience with AWS or GCP Identity & Access Management (IAM) and SAML integrations with Active Directory
