Job Description:

BASIC JOB FUNCTION: Front Desk Agents are a major part of the "personality" of the Conference Center and hotel. Responsible to greet and register guest, provide prompt and courteous service and close out guest accounts upon completion of stay to meet brand’s high standards of quality. QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, & WORK EXPERIENCE
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience/training
  • Must be able to be knowledgeable on the use of computers.
  • Ability to effectively communicate, read and write in the English language.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Greet customers immediately with a friendly and sincere welcome. Use a positive, clear speaking voice, listen to and understand requests, respond with appropriate action and provide accurate information to guest.

2. Will be responsible to ensure accuracy on all posting of charges to guest and group folios, ensure maintenance of cash receipts and balancing of hotel bank.

3. Will make reservation for future guest. Will enter and update group reservation files.

4. Serve as concierge, providing guest with information on local entertainment and dining experience. Will promote different outlets of property.

5. Adhere to the policies of the Resort as set forth in the Employee Handbook and report any observed violations to Human Resources.

6. Demonstrate “Be the difference” attitude with guest and employees.

7. Will have an open professional communication with all departments.

8. Monitor, sell and post items sold from the Sundries shop.

9. Demonstrate energetic positive attitude and collecting guest feedback/comment cards.

MARIGINAL FUNCTIONS:

Ability to be flexible to work any assigned shift/work schedule. Any other task, written or verbal, assigned by Management.
