Job Description:
The Human Resources Manager performs a variety of duties that relate to human resources including, but not limited to, Human Resource department operational efficiency, Caregiver and Key Player recruitment and retention, employee compensation & benefits program, and employee performance and engagement.
Primary Responsibilities:
&bull Reflect the core values of Prescott Sanchez Inc. d.b.a. an independently owned and operated Home Instead Senior Care franchise.
&bull Develop and manage the annual franchise Human Resources operational plan.
&bull Achieve the annual organization operational plan's revenues, gross profit, profitability and other operational goals by the stated milestones.
&bull Provide leadership and management of the HR Department focusing on operational efficiency, Caregiver recruitment and retention, employee disciplinary action, employee compensation & benefits program, employee performance and engagement.
&bull Manage outcomes of HR department activities and direct changes that will drive achievement of operational goals.
&bull Identify, develop, implement and manage employee policies and handbook updates.
&bull Manage 3rd Party benefits brokers to ensure employee eligibility requirements are maintained.
&bull Complete a regularly scheduled audit of HR processes to ensure compliance with all governing bodies including Home Instead Senior Care® Standards and any state-specific requirements.
&bull Demonstrate open and effective communication with the franchise owner, direct reports, colleagues, Caregivers, clients and family members.
&bull Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensure that they are implemented and communicated to all employees.
Qualifications: Applicants must have a college degree or equivalent work experience with 5-10 years of experience in human resource management. Must be certified through an accredited human resource management organization. Must have the ability to present a professional appearance and demeanour. Must be patient and congenial. Must have computer skills and be proficient in proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Must be fluent in English, able to communicate information efficiently, possess good work ethic, multi-task, able to follow through and complete assigned tasks. Must be a good listener, pay attention to detail, ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Bilingual is a plus.
