WEEKEND CAREGIVER

Home Instead Senior Care is looking for caring and compassionate Caregivers to be a part of our team and join our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout our community.  Home Instead Senior Care provides a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care, and compassion.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR CAREGIVERS THAT CAN WORK SATURDAY AND SUNDAYS Shifts available are as follows and this is for every weekend7am-7pm/ 8am-4pm/9am-5pm/ 9am-1pm/7am-5pm/5pm-11pm. 
You should be available to work every weekend to be considered for a weekend caregiver position.

WEEKEND ONLY ..CAREGIVER PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• TB SKIN TEST. REQUIRED
• Possess a valid driver's license and valid auto insurance.
• Must be willing to work a consistent weekend schedule.
• Must be able to handle client incontinent situations, ex. Cleaning client and Changing adult diapers and helping a client in the bathroom.
• Companionship and conversation
• Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
• Medication and appointment reminders
• Must be able to handle clients in various stages of Dementia and Alzheimer  
• Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
• Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
• Complete a criminal background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug screen
• Requires a two-year minimum of experience (Does not have to be in a professional environment)
