Patient Access Scheduler - Full-time / Part-time

Aerotek has recently partnered with a medical facility in Olathe for a patient scheduler.

Job Description

Responsible for the scheduling and cancellation of all outpatient procedures. These services include but not limited to: radiology, laboratory, cardiopulmonary,Sleep Disorder Center, Rehab service, Outpatient Services, dietitian and coordinating times with the deaf interpreter. This position also makes outbound calls to get patients on the schedule and assists with the management of orders, in a variety of ways.

Work Environment

• M-F 8:30-4:30 PM.
• Will have occasional overtime as needed.
• Will work in centralized scheduling group
• Will work alongside 9 other schedulers in the department.

Qualifications

• High School or GED
• 2+ years experience in health care scheduling/call center
• 1+ years experience with medical terminology
• 6 mos+ with SCI and Cerner (electronic medical records systems)
