Job Description Summary:
Spa Receptionist are responsible for checking guest in and the Spa, while maintaining a professional and calm atmosphere.

Job Description: ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Provide a professional and friendly attitude to all customers and employee.

Check guest in and out, book appointments effectively in booking system.

Accurately tender all payments for guests of the Spa.

Meet guest needs: fitness room, locker room, relaxation area, indoor and outdoor pool. Knowledge of retail products and services offered in the Spa and Resort.

Maintain a cash bank effectively.

On time attendance and dress code required.

Ensure a neat, tidy appearance of Spa facility at all times.

Conduct daily administrative tasks according to the appropriate checklist.

Tour guest through spa, assisting guest with special request.

Report equipment failures or maintenance issues promptly.

Answer incoming telephone calls promptly and politely, guide guests in choosing the best services for their individual needs, and book services with detail and accuracy.

Maintain a thorough understanding of spa and resort programs and services and act as an ambassador for the resort with each guest.

Follow up with each guest on product recommendations made by service providers and assist in educating the guest while closing the retail sale.

Alert Spa management to potential problems or concerns as they relate to guests or staff. Promote positive guest relations by providing prompt, courteous and efficient service and effectively resolving complaints in a timely manner.

Project a calm demeanor, even in the most stressful situations.

Maintain confidentiality of all proprietary information.
