JOB SUMMARY: Valet Runners provide a personal vehicle parking and retrieval service for the park guests.


MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Following safe driving procedures, including traffic laws, and safety protocol. Driving vehicles to and from parked areas, and securing the vehicle properly.
  • Ensuring tickets are filled out completely and accurately with specific information. Marking all pre-existing vehicle damage on the ticket. Return the keys with ticket to valet key booth.
  • Greeting all guests, and opening the vehicle doors. When working on the door greeting position, explaining valet procedures and pricing; offering additional services such as Red Carpet and Pre-paid service. Ensuring tickets are filled out completely and accurately with specific information. When in the screener position, greeting guests upon arrival and perform access control responsibilities for valet area.
  • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


JOB SUMMARY: Valet Booth Attendants provide a high level of guest service while properly handling cash/credit transactions and entering keys into the valet system to ensure quick return of guest vehicles. Providing transportation of the Valet Runners to and from the parking area and circle.


MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Following proper cash handling policy and procedure while maintaining a high level of guest service. Ensuring all transactions are processed correctly in the Zip Park and Galaxy systems.
  • Inputting guest/vehicle information in computer system. Ensure keys are entered in the system in a timely manner. Maintain and track the vehicle keys logged. Ensuring keys are placed in the proper location for efficient retrieval.
  • Providing transportation of the Valet Runners to and from the parking garage and circle.  Following safe driving procedures, including traffic laws, and safety protocol.
  • Ensuring all paperwork and information logs are completed properly and accurately.
  • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Positions in Valet require:

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift and or move between 20 and 50 pounds
  • Working outdoors in all weather conditions (select positions)
  • Maintaining a clean work environment with use of cleaning chemicals
  • Valid Florida State Driver License
  • Taking & Passing: Red Cross, Basic Water Safety Class, American Heart Association, CPR/AED training, American Heart Association, First Aid training, UO Blood borne Pathogens safety training, DOT Coast Guard Physical, and UO Fire Extinguisher Class (select positions)
  • Ability to exert physical running for duration of shift times (Valet Runner)
