SOS Security, LP has immediate job openings for Security Professional- High End Retail (unarmed), in the San Francisco, CA Area.

Pay Rate: $16.00 - $18.00/hourly

Education and Licensing:

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must have Valid California Guard Card

Primary Duties:

• SOS security officers act as a visible deterrent to crime, they assist in detecting and reporting suspicious, unsafe and or criminal acts at their assigned locations which may pose a threat to our client’s property, clients, guests or employees. Although essential duties may differ based on the location at which our officers work, below are some of the general duties:
• Ensure that clients location is provided with high quality security services to protect people and property
• Greet all visitors to our clients location and provide direction and assistance as needed
• Observe and report suspicious activity to our on site client contact
• Report safety concerns, security breaches and unusual circumstances both orally and in writing
• Answer questions and assist guests and employees
• Assist client staff as and when needed

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High-end retail experience preferred (but not essential)
• Must be able to successfully fulfill post duties.
• Must have at least two forms of valid identification readily available
• Have the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing in English
• Have a neat and professional appearance
• Should have flexible work availability
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Must have reliable means of transportation
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Must be able to communicate with other security and facility personnel over basic phone and radio systems
• Must be vigilant, reporting any security issues or incidents
• With or without reasonable accommodation, the physical and mental requirements of this job may include the following: seeing, hearing, speaking, and writing clearly. Occasional reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling. Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain. Additional physical requirements may include, frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.

• Must be able to pass drug screening
