Manufacturing Tech - Full-time

Crown Services is looking for production workers with experience in a metal shop, production or manufacturing environment.

An armoring company in the Bedford Park area is looking for laborers to assist with a variety of duties. If you have a background in welding, automotive repair or metal shop work, or if these are skills you are interested in learning, then this is the position for you! Our client offers training in a variety of fields and offers growth opportunities within the company.

Responsibilities:
-Disassembling/reassembling vehicles including plastic interiors/panels on doors, carpet, etc. using a variety of hand tools and power tools
-Applying foam over portions of armor, using foam strips and glue
-Grinding of armored plates inside vehicles
-Removing sheet metal from vehicles prior to armoring
-Measuring, cutting, bending and trimming a variety of materials
-Loading/unloading of various materials

This is a 1st shift position, 6:30am-3:00pm, Monday through Friday. Pay starts at $12-$13/hour, based on experience. These are Temp to Perm positions!

Requirements:
-Previous machine/metal shop or manufacturing experience is required
-Must be able to use various hand and power tools
-Familiarity with read blueprints is a plus
-Good measurement skills
-Ability to lift up to 50 lbs daily
-Must be able to comply with any background and drug screen requirements.
-Must be able to obtain U.S. Government Security Clearance (Secret Level)
