About this job

Positions available are part-time, flexible, mostly, weekends/late afternoons, and typically 4 hours. Daily pay averages $80 - $85 (4 hours).

As a Consumer Connector, you are a vital player in the success of the event and the consumers’ overall image of the brand you are promoting. You are the “first impression” of the brand and can influence consumers’ perception of the product and their purchase behavior. You will be responsible for promoting brand awareness on local and national retailers by sampling, brochure/coupon distribution, and product demonstration. Your key objectives: Promote Brand Awareness and Increase Sales.

Major Responsibilities

  • Select pre-scheduled promotional events by booking online.
  • Execute promotional event on the scheduled date, time and location.
  • Follow standard guidelines and instructions as provided by Staying Connected
  • Utilize MC Card to purchase sample product/supplies and to monitor event
  • Report via Computerlink results of promotion within 48 hours of scheduled
  • Two social media posts per event
  • Mail receipts, report forms, and other materials as specified within 48 hours of the event
  • Communicate all issues before, during and after events
  • Professional representation of products and store (surveillance cameras/personnel monitor activities)

Minimum Position Requirements

  • Excellent verbal skills, organized, detail oriented and computer literate
  • Computer access with internet and printing capabilities
  • Friendly, outgoing, energetic, emphasis on sales
  • Must have 200 friends or followers on social media
  • Must be able to take a screenshot
  • Must have a smartphone
  • Reliable transportation
  • Able to set up an event table and display

Physical Position Requirements

  • Adequate vision (corrected/ uncorrected) to read correspondence, information and computer screens without any restrictions. • Hearing (corrected/ uncorrected) must be sufficient to allow for consumer interaction with accurate comprehension.
  • Adequate speech to correspond with consumers, store associates/management, and consumer products/Mass Connections representatives
  • Capable of verbally communicating clearly and concisely
  • Ability to set up and take down event table and display of product
  • Ability to stand for a minimum of 5 hours, lift and carry 25 pounds without assistance, and reach a minimum shelf height of 72 inches
