Game Day Chiefs Security Staff at Arrowhead Stadium - Full-time / Part-time

Job Description:

Whelan Event Staffing Services is a crowd management company focused on stadiums, arenas, convention centers and other event locations nationwide. We’re currently searching for Event Day Security & Guest Service Staff for upcoming concerts and athletic events at Arrowhead and Kauffman Stadiums.
 

Examples of events that you could work include: Billy Joel Concert, Taylor Swift Concert, Ed Sheeran Concert, Chiefs Football Games, Royals Baseball Games and more!
 

Your Contributions Include:

We are looking for reliable Unarmed Event Day Security & Guest Service Staff (pay rate $9.00/hour+ DOE and event location) to join us in providing a positive, professional security presence by offering superior customer service while maintaining a fun and safe environment. Our part-time positions offer self-scheduling (you work when you choose to; nothing more, nothing less.).
 

Some of the open positions and responsibilities include:

• Bag Checkers

Ensuring the safety of all guests to verify no prohibited items are allowed into the stadium

• General Event Staff (ticket taker, directional staff, etc.)

Assist guests with general questions, collecting and/or verifying tickets and access

• Field / Floor / Stage Security & Access Control Positions

Monitor crowds and guests to ensure safety of all and report any suspect behavior

• Metal Detecting Monitor

Ensure the safety of all guests to verify all metal and potentially prohibited items are identified and not allowed into the stadium
 

You have a unique combination of skills and talents including:

• Demonstrate a stable work history

Extra Credit:

• Experience in the security industry
• Majoring or have a degree in Criminal Justice or Law Enforcement
• First responder looking to gain additional experience and income
• Former, transitioning and active military experience
• Previous Bouncer / Doorman Experience

• A quick thinker with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly
• Ability to stand for extended periods, sometimes throughout an entire event, and are comfortable doing so (notify us of reasonable accommodations)

• At least 18 years old and able to pass a criminal background screening conducted through the state and/or federal government
