Maintenance Mechanic

We are looking for a Preventative Maintenance Technician that is open to a great career opportunity with a national company that has been in business for over 60 years. This company has been North American's premier, value-added steel processor, providing customers with wide ranging capabilities, products and services for a variety of markets including automotive, construction and agriculture.

Responsibilities:

• Complete preventative maintenance tasks on fixtures and tooling.
• Will assist with robotic and general maintenance preventative maintenance tasks.
• Complete mechanical repairs and makes adjustments as needed.
• Perform preventative maintenance on all machinery as assigned.
• Successfully troubleshoot mechanical problems.
• Complete welding and fabrication tasks with little direction.
• Accountable for entering data into maintenance system timely and accurately.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Perform basic electricity in order to work in maintenance field safely.

Qualifications:

• Must be able to pass a 7-year background check
• Must be able to pass a drug test
• Must have 1 year of preventative maintenance experience
• Basic knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics and plumbing
• Basic mechanical, welding and cutting skills
• Should be capable of reading mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic prints

Hours: 1st Shift
Pay: Depends on experience/ entry level
