SUMMARY DUTIES

 

The Dishwasher is responsible for sanitation related to the placement and presentation of our many exquisite recipes. The Dishwasher assists the  team  in  making sure  that  there is  a  clean  working environment. Our Guests deserve and expect to eat our wonderful recipes on spotless dishes. This includes kitchenware such as plates, knives, forks, and spoons. This is an important role in the Villa experience and career path for advancement within VRG. Presentation and cleanliness of Villa’s dishes are  vital  components  to  the  success  of  this  position.  The  Dishwasher  is  consistently focused  on teamwork, willing to go above and beyond to get the job done.

 

 

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBLITES / TASKS

 

•    100% completion of VRG iLEARN Training required and as new chapters are added

•    Exhibit the iCARE Hospitality Culture promises: iSEE, iSAY, iSMILE

•    Have a positive attitude and wear a smile!!! (it is part of your uniform)

•    Show respect and courtesy for Team Members and Guests

•      Primarily responsible for washing, rinsing, sanitizing and putting away dishes that accumulate in the kitchen

•    Maintain the kitchen area, equipment, or utensils in a spotless and orderly condition

•    Be well organized and efficient throughout shift

•    Be aware of all menu items and special promotions

•    Help and assist management in keeping the restaurant clean and organized

•    Have a positive attitude and wear a smile!!! (it is part of your uniform)

•    Show respect and courtesy for Team Members and Guests

•    Accept constructive criticism from all levels of management and fellow co-workers- don’t take it

personally

•    Maintain constant, consistent communication between yourselves and management

•      Set high expectations for yourself and for the team. Do not compromise your standards and beliefs

•    Have tremendous energy and enthusiasm when you work

 

•    Be relentless in your pursuit of excellence

•    Be the solution to the problem and not the cause

Requirements

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

 

•    Must be at least 16 years of age (providing working papers per applicable state requirements)

•    Excellent communication as well as interpersonal skills with Guests and Team

•    Be a good leader as well as a good follower

•    Must have reliable transportation to and from work

•    Flexible work schedules (including weekends & Holidays)

•    Complete Tasks in a timely manner

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

 

This position is regularly required to stand for extended periods of time; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and talk to or hear. Regular lifting and/or moving up to

10lbs - 50lbs is required. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
