HealthPark Valet is a company that goes beyond parking to provide compassion at the curbside to our customers. This position is ideal for someone looking to grow with an organization and make a positive impact on others.
As a Valet Site Manager , you will supervise, support, and lead a team of exceptional Valet Attendants . This entry-level position is a hands-on leadership position, requiring you to roll up your sleeves to work alongside your team.
Hourly Rate: $16 - $18 / Hour (Based on Experience)
Shift Available: Monday to Friday - Day Shift Hours (Must be flexible)
Duties Include:
- Provide ongoing coaching and training to Valet Attendants
- Work closely with the Operations Manager to identify and communicate procedural issues or opportunities to improve efficiency and patient satisfaction.
- Provide employee performance feedback to the Regional Support Manager
- Document personnel issues and communicate to the Regional Support Manager and Human Resources Director
- Train new employees to meet our high-level service expectations
- Answer customer questions and help direct them to the appropriate location
- Document and report any complaints, damages or suspicious activity
- Assist Regional Support Manager with interviewing and hiring Valet Attendants
Duties may also include:
- Promptly greet visitors, patients and staff
- Explain the ticketless valet system or hand out claim tickets to customers
- Manage keys at the valet podium
- Manage the parking area (staging vehicles, directing traffic, etc.)
- Park and retrieve vehicles in a safe and timely manner
- Set up and dismantle the valet station at opening and closing
- Maintain a neat and clean valet station
- Other duties as required
Job Requirements:
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Travel Required to nearby sites.
- Previous supervisory experience is a must
- Previous Human Resources training and experience is preferred
- Excellent communication skills and a passion for customer service
- Must be patient, courteous & friendly
- Ability to maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Strong team-work qualities and professionalism
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- This position is suitable for a person who can stand/walk for long periods of time in an outdoor environment.
- Ability to jog short distances over an 8-hour to 10-hour shift
- Proficient use of smartphone and computer tablet technology
- A valid driver’s license for at least 3 years with excellent driving record (NO DUI, SUSPENSIONS OR MAJOR MOVING VIOLATIONS IN THE PAST 5 YEARS)
- Must pass a criminal background screening
- Previous customer service experience or work in a helping/caretaker setting strongly desired
- A good working knowledge of most cars; manual transmission (stick-shift) experience preferred
- Employment may be contingent upon the successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen
