Seeking a dynamic Telephonic Consultant/Counselor - EAP to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide telephonic assistance, services, resources, referrals, and consultation on various Employee Assistance Programs and work/life issues (counseling referrals, to military service members and their families experiencing personal and other problems)
- Conduct telephonic comprehensive professional assessments of the user's needs while maintaining the highest degree of sensitivity, compassion and respect for service members and their families
- Documents all cases into the Military OneSource Case Management System
- Monitor all research, referrals and additional materials sent to users/customers
- Ability to identify high risk cases and respond as indicated under direction of the supervisor
Responsibilities:
- MSW/Marriage and Family Therapist/Mental Health Counselor
- 1+ year of clinical experience (could be experience working in a hospital/clinic/EAP/non-profit/community mental health, etc.)
- Computer efficiency - they instant message (IM) throughout the organization, use a case management system and provider connection software for referrals.
- Must have strong communication verbal/written in English
Wishlist:
- Licensed SW/therapist/counselor - LCSW, LMFT, LPC
- EAP experience is preferred
- Military experience or experience working with Military and their families is a plus
