Traveling Industrial Mechanic

What a GREAT opportunity I have to work for a Premier Environmental Construction Company! A GREAT client of mine is actively seeking an Industrial Environmental Mechanic/Technician for their Wastewater Operations Group. This group performs work at water treatment facilities, wastewater facilities, industrial facilities, landfills and superfund sites.

For more then 50+ years, this company has been providing 1st class service to their customers for; Construction, Environmental Monitoring/Sampling/Remediation, and Energy development. This employer takes pride in the work they do and how it effects the local community around the sites they work at.

In order to be successful in this role, the Mechanic/Technician will need to have; a strong Mechanical background/aptitude, some carpentry experience and some previous experience working in an industrial environment.

The work for this role will be different site to site. Depending on the site you are at you may perform the following; Mechanical Repair, Installation, Troubleshooting; Carpentry, Environmental Remediation, Carpentry, etc. Will work at different Industrial Wastewater or Environmental Remediation sites. All of this will include; fixing pumps, valves & piping, etc.; performing both service and installation as a maintenance mechanic.

Please note this is a traveling position. A company truck will be provided along with all necessary hand & power tools. Travel will be 75% of the time (PA, NJ, NY, DE ,etc.) Monday-Friday with you being home almost all weekends. Need to be comfortable with overnight stays.
