This company has a need for 3 Software Developers in Austin, TX office. This position will be within the Software Development team.
The company develop warehouse distribution software - this team develops software that integrates with distribution centers that can tell a person where / how to navigate a warehouse in order to maximize efficiency.
Seeking an Entry Level Developer to join growing team to develop, and support mission-critical applications. The candidate will help to develop, deploy, and maintain high availability applications in the distribution space. Also provide support and technical advice during conceptualization, development, and implementation phases to transform requirements to working solutions.
*Develop software with Java EE for projects
*Provide technical support to customers on-site
*Train customers and key-users on installed applications
*Maintain good relationships with all internal and external customers, through provision of a high-quality service
*Work within an Agile environment
*Attend site during software commissioning phases to ensure that integration testing and site acceptance testing is completed as required
*Perform presentations of complex technical findings and developments to internal and external customers
*Design database schemas and contribute to database performance tuning
QUALIFICATIONS:
BA Computer Science or Computer Engineering
1-3 years of software development
Knowledge/experience with concurrency and/or scalability
Knowledge of relational databases
Software Methodologies
Experience with web based development for Java applications
