This Company was founded in 1949, specializes in the manufacture of window units for office buildings, medical facilities, skyscrapers and other structures with window openings. They do everything from concept and design work, to assembly/fabrication, glazing, and shipping to customer sites where their partner company performs installations. They perform high volume custom work based on consumer needs and orders.
Job Description:
Will be putting together a fixture using hand and power tools. A person who comes from a framing carpentry background would be ideal. They will be setting up a fixture they make which is used to do measurements in a precise angle. They must follow the specific guidelines and blue prints to do the assembly and sub assembly of these fixtures. The fixture they are creating has a main job which is to cut in the same spot each time . They will be drilling holes in the wooden fixture which is why a carpentry background will come in handy.They will be operating various equipment like drill press, punch press sometimes CNC machines.
They will be required to do the installations with PUC insulators using paperless blueprints (blueprints on the computer)
Working with Aluminum extrusion machines, drill presses, punch and potentially CNC
Shift: 4pm-2:30am (10 hour shift) M-Th night shift
