Summary:
This position is responsible for providing direct support, positive direction, and assistance to individuals in accordance with program policies and procedures; and personal outcome measures. This position also acts as a team leader and resource person for Direct Support Professionals, assists in staff scheduling, manages client resources, appointments, and activity schedules. We offer paid training.
General Responsibilities:
Supports the Bethesda Mission, Vision, and Core Values while empowering each person to direct their own life choices
Assist with daily activities such meal prep, medication administration, person hygiene
Accompanying individuals on outings in the community
Provide transportation to work or other activities
Reports and/or documents routine and unusual events including completing daily logs, accident reports, outcome data sheets
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Must be minimum of 18 years of age
Valid driver’s license in good standing
Access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance
Successful clearance of background checks
Job Type: Full-time, Part-time

Paid CPR/1st aid certification training is provided.
