MUST HAVES:

• Ability to work all scheduled shifts (Including every other weekend) Attendance is key to getting hired on after 500 hours of work
• Manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability work handle minimal training and multiple machines
• Ability to read and write in English

They operate on a 3-2-2-3 work schedule (6am-6pm or 6pm-6am). Employees will work every other weekend. These positions are 11.5-12 hour shifts. 34 or 46 hours per week depending on the schedule
Primary duty:
Assists operators on injection molding machines to produce and prepare consumer products for storage or shipment. Employees will pack product per customer specifications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Responsibility to safety procedures
2. Supplying the production machines with unfinished products and sending off finished products.
3. Monitoring quality (color deviations, comparing with color chips and retains/compactors)
4. Eliminating small errors.
5. Changing formats on simple production machines
6. Document daily production values, including scrap quantities and reasons
7. Assist operators to load pallet jack
8. Cleaning/housekeeping; sweeping, cleaning machines
9. Monitoring the production processes
10. Assemble cartons to pack plastic articles
11. Stack cartons from 25-40 #'s on pallets
12. Pushing/pulling full pallets onto pallets
13. Pack cartons with plastic articles according to customer specification

Challenges with the position:
24/7 operation
11.5 hour work days
Demanding job that will take some time for the body to get used to. Typically after 2 weeks the body does adjust to this type of work schedule.
