Assembly Technician
Looking for an active, motivated and positive-minded Assembler who would like to be part of a team of professional wholesale optical laboratory technicians. Optical experience is preferred, but we are willing to train if you are looking for long-term growth. You will be cross-trained and tasks include lens edging, frame tracing, tinting, coating, surfacing, shipping and data entry. This is an active job where you are on your feet and moving around throughout the day. If you are looking for a career and not simply a "job", this is for you.

Good interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to respond to customers directly and quickly under pressure

Experience working in a fast-paced environment

Ability to meet department standards for productivity and quality

Ability to read and write at a level necessary to accomplish the above tasks

Good manual dexterity and hand/eye coordination

Ability to recognize and distinguish colors

Ability to perform physical activities requiring bending, kneeling and pulling/pushing

Ability to understand and follow procedures
