Civil Quality Control Manager

Land Development Engineering and Consulting firm is currently seeking a Civil Quality Control Manager. This person will be responsible for helping to lead the quality control efforts for 100+ employee engineering, surveying, planning, and landscape architecture firms. This is a long term opportunity with opportunity for advancement and professional development.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Civil Engineering
• EIT or PE
• 10+ years of experience
• Capable capable of geometry, grading and infrastructure design for site planning, subdivision design, storm water management, sustainable design practices, and infrastructure upgrades.
• DPE designation in Northern Virginia is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with QA/QC procedures corporate wide
• Participation in all phases of all significant public/private projects from programming through final design, plan approval, and construction administration.
• Maintenance of corporate QA/QC procedures
• Review of RFP's to determine scoping requirements
• Preparation of proposals including scope and budget estimates
• Review contracts to ensure that the scope of services meet or exceeds client needs and adequate budgets have been provided
• Preparation of Lessons Learned documentation to increase quality and efficiency.
• Prepare in house training programs to improve efficiency and quality of work
• Provide orientation for new staff members regarding the QA/QC process.

Pay: $75,000-$120,000/year
