Parts Counter/Inventory Manager

We are currently hiring a parts counter/inventory manager for our diesel service center.

Candidates will be:
-Creating purchase orders
-Quoting parts
-Supplying parts to the shop
-walking around talking to the techs. and finding out what parts they need

You will be learning our internal software (Karmat Fusion)- this is a windows based system.

-Work in the parts department with your own computer provided by the company
-Sometimes you will be using crimps, bobcats, and stand-up forklifts
-You will be working with repair orders and will have to properly file your documents, order parts, and receive parts
-For about an hour of each day you will be tracking inventory and counting parts
-There will be times you need to go get the parts from the store and bring them back to the shop.

Day on the Job:
1.Turn on computer- go through open repair orders- bill out parks that have been taken- walk through the shop (every hour or 2) to make sure techs have proper parts and if they don't you must record what they need to have ordered and go order the parts in their internal software (Karmat Fusion)- the rest of the day you are at the parts counter tracking orders for jobs, gathering information on where the parts are at and where they are at in the order process- sourcing parts for estimation- getting approvals for orders- properly pricing orders.

Shift:

1st Shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm (Monday - Friday) Start and end times are flexible.
