Express Employment Professionals is seeking the services of highly skilled Welders that desire to work in a team environment. The purpose of the Welder role is to produce the highest quality end products.
Welder - Job Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience with the GTAW weld process.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience with the FCAW weld process.
- Ability to demonstrate proficiency with GTAW and FCAW in a practical weld test on stainless steel and pass a visual and bend test administered by one of our on-site CWIs.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
- Minimum of 5 years shop fabrication experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Capable of MIG, TIG, and Stick welding- certification preferred
- Ability to operate forklift- certification preferred
- Ability to communicate in English
Welder - Job Responsibilities:
- Experienced Welder- Aluminum, Steel, and Stainless formats
- Reads and interprets shop drawings and blueprints
- Transfer drawing information into efficient physical layout and jig process for product fabrication
- Performs fitting, machining, and coping at high level
- Proficient use of various shop equipment (bending machines, shear, drill press, all hand tools, welders, rollers, saws, cutting torch)
- Executes grinding and finishing processes to readiness level per job finish specifications
- Exhibits professionalism and works effectively with other team members
- Exhibits high level personal self-discipline and effective time management in order to achieve production targets and deliver product within customer deadlines
- Maintains organized and clean work area
- Communicates need for drawing clarifications, necessary materials, and equipment maintenance
- Willingness to work overtime and weekend shifts as required to meet customer deadlines
