Parts Cleaner/Grinder

Express Employment Professionals partners with a steel distribution facility located in Beech Grove that offers a variety of entry level and skilled manufacturing and warehouse positions.  They are currently looking for 1st shift temporary parts cleaners.

Job Summary/Company Information: 

• This Company supplies raw materials (carbon, stainless steel, aluminum and red metals) to a variety of manufacturing and other industries.
• This company has been in business for over 50 years and has over 40 locations nationwide!

• Currently looking for 1st shift temporary parts cleaners

• The position could last up to 6 months but could turn into evaluation to hire for the right candidate on 2nd or 3rd shift.

• The position requires an individual to grind, chip, package, and inspect steel parts.

   

Pay/Benefits:

• $14/hour

Schedule: 1st shift, 7am - 3.30pm

Requirements:

• The ideal candidate will be hard working, have attention to detail, an interest working in a heavy production environment. 

• Candidates that are familiar with heavy equipment such as forklift or pallet jacks generally work best however they are open to training individuals on this type of equipment.

• Candidates must pass a math/ruler/fraction test in order to qualify for any possible long term opportunities. The ability to advance and move onto different positions and departments is encouraged and happens frequently.

• Additionally, this company has a strong culture with very little turnover.
