About this job

The Firmware Engineer will be part of the team that develops and maintains firmware for our client's embedded products.

Responsibilities
*Write embedded firmware for our client's proprietary embedded products
*Define tasks based on software design / requirements, and deliver solutions within program schedule guidelines
*Design and execute test plans
*Maintain in-house development and debug tools
*Implement low power algorithms

Requirements
*2 to 7 years experience in embedded software and firmware development
*Fluency in C programming language
*Experience with RTOS is a plus
*Knowledge of ARM / INTEL based microcontrollers (Really any microcontrollers will be acceptable).
*Ability to implement interface peripheral drivers using RS232 / SPI / I2C
*Able to read hardware schematics, and debug using oscilloscope and logic analyzer
*Knowledge of at least one version control system
*Detail oriented, hard working, team player, good communication skills
*Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
